Ekiti Queens Return to Oluyemi Kayode Stadium for Pace Setters Clash

Ekiti Queens FC will return to the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, for a 4pm NWFL fixture against Pace Setters FC, marking their first home game at the venue after serving a league-imposed sanction.

The restriction followed fans reation during the December 10, 2025 tie against Edo Queens, which led to the team playing three home matches at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta. Despite the temporary relocation, Ekiti Queens secured wins over Naija Ratels and Heartland Queens at their temporary homegrown.

They head into the fixture on the back of a 2–1 away victory against Naija Ratels in Bwari, a result that keeps their campaign firmly on track as they look to build momentum in the closing phase of the season.

Support is expected to be strong as the team reunites with its home crowd, with the Ekiti State Sports Development Office, led by Dr. Olusola Osetoba, calling for continued positive backing from fans. The office confirmed that arrangements have been put in place to ensure a safe and orderly matchday experience with heavy presenceofsecuritypersonnels, while encouraging supporters to uphold the values of sportsmanship the state is known for.

With the advantage of familiar ground and renewed energy from their supporters, Ekiti Queens will be aiming to make their return count against a determined Pace Setters side.
