Aramoko Erupts in Celebration as ADICO Parades Agbeyewa Cup 2025 Trophy
The ancient town of Aramoko-Ekiti was thrown into jubilation on Wednesday as Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School (ADICO), winners of the Agbeyewa Cup 2025, held a victory parade through the streets to celebrate their historic triumph.
Led by their Games Master and teachers, the jubilant students danced joyfully around the town, proudly displaying their Agbeyewa Cup trophy amid cheers from residents who trooped out to join in the celebration.
The parade reached its highlight when the team paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Alara of Aramoko-Ekiti, where they presented the prestigious trophy to the Regent of Aramoko-Ekiti in honour of the community’s royal blessing and support.
ADICO clinched the Agbeyewa Cup title on Tuesday after a thrilling 1–0 victory over Igogo Commercial School, in a match described as one of the most fiercely contested finals in the competition’s history.
Their victory parade symbolized not just school pride, but also community unity and celebration of youth excellence in sports — hallmarks of the Agbeyewa Cup’s vision to promote grassroots football development across Ekiti State.
