Technical Crew Converge as Office of the Technical Advisor on Sports Development Hosts Interactive Workshop

The Office of the Technical Advisor on Sports Development successfully organized a one-day interactive workshop for the newly appointed technical crews that will oversee the affairs of Ekiti United FC, Ekiti Queens FC, Ekiti United Feeders FC, and Ekiti Queens Feeders FC ahead of the 2026/2027 football season.
Delivering the keynote lecture at the workshop, the Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports Development, Dr. Olusola Osetoba, who also served as the resource person, spoke on the theme: “Optimizing Teams’ Vision, Values and Performance Through Discipline Ahead of the 2026/2027 Football Season.”
Dr. Osetoba emphasized the importance of aligning with the vision of the Ekiti State Government for its football teams. She reiterated that the primary objective is for Ekiti United FC to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season, while Ekiti Queens FC is expected to compete on the continental stage in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions.
She further stressed that unity, discipline, commitment, and teamwork remain the key ingredients for achieving these ambitious goals. Dr. Osetoba also called on all sons and daughters of Ekiti State, as well as football lovers, to support the state-owned clubs as they strive for greater success.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman of the Ekiti State Football Association, Aare Oluwole Oloworemo, congratulated the newly appointed technical crews and assured them of the Football Association’s unwavering support. He urged the coaches and officials to remain dedicated and focused in their responsibilities, expressing confidence in their ability to achieve outstanding results in the coming season and beyond.
Other dignitaries present at the one-day workshop included the General Manager of the Ekiti State Sports Commission, Mr. Mayowa Ogundele, and the Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development, Hon. Kola Owoseni, alongside other sports administrators and stakeholders.
