SWAN Ekiti Hails Federal Polytechnic Ado’s NIPOGA Third Consecutive Victory
The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ekiti State chapter, has congratulated the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, for securing a historic third consecutive victory at the Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA).
In an official statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Qozeem Oladapo, and Secretary, Bisi Ogunleye, SWAN Ekiti State Chapter praised the institution’s Management, Sports Office, athletes, staff, and students for their role in achieving the feat at the 22nd edition of the NIPOGA Games.
The association gave special recognition to the leadership of the institution’s Sports Office, headed by Mrs. Jumoke Abe, for sustaining the winning tradition in a national event that featured over 50 polytechnics across the country.
“By winning the 22nd edition after previous victories in the 20th and 21st editions, the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti has shown its commitment to excellence obtained by hardwork, planning and Management support,” the statement read.
SWAN further urged the Ekiti State Sports Commission to partner with the polytechnic in harnessing its sporting potential for broader development within the state.
Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, previously won the 20th and 21st editions of NIPOGA before clinching the 22nd title, confirming its status as a dominant force in tertiary institution sports in Nigeria.
