DR OSETOBA APPRECIATE GOV.OYEBANJI FOR APPROVAL OF N7.6 BILLION CONTRACT FOR INDOOR SPORTS HALL
The Ekiti State Government has approved a massive N7.6 billion contract for the construction of a state-of-the-art Indoor Sports Hall, demonstrating Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s commitment to youth development through sports.
The project, expected to be completed within 52 weeks by Messrs Aron Nigeria Limited, is part of the state’s plans to promote youth development through sports, according to Taiwo Olatunbosun, Commissioner for Information.

Dr. Olusola Osetoba, Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sport Development, praised Oyebanji’s leadership, saying his commitment to sports development in Ekiti State is truly commendable. “Under his leadership, the state has witnessed significant investments in sports infrastructure and programs,” she said.
Osetoba highlighted the Governor’s vision for Ekiti State’s growth and development, noting that his dedication to the welfare of his people is evident in his actions. “It’s great to see leaders like Governor Oyebanji who prioritize the well-being and empowerment of their citizens,” she added.
The Indoor Sports Hall will provide a world-class facility for athletes and serve as a hub for community engagement and social activities. This project is a key part of Oyebanji’s administration’s efforts to promote youth development through sports, with a consultancy fee of N60 million already approved for the project’s establishment back in 2024.
Osetoba emphasized that Governor Oyebanji’s leadership is a blessing to the people of Ekiti State, and his selfless service is worthy of recognition and gratitude. “Those who are not appreciative and full of negativity should take a step back, reflect on the progress being made, and join hands with us to develop Ekiti State’s sports sector,” she said.
