NWFL 25: Ekiti Queens FC Set to Battle Nasarawa Amazons In Matchday 4
Ado-Ekiti – Ekiti Queens FC are geared up to face Nasarawa Amazons in a crucial Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Match Day 4 encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
According to Demola Atobaba, Media Officer of Ekiti Queens FC, the team is “powerfully prepared” to secure an away victory that will propel them further up the NWFL Group A table.
The match promises to be an intense battle, with both team closely sitted on 3rd and 4th on NWFL Group A table with 6points separated by goal margin. With Goalkeeper Lucky Andy, Ekiti Queens FC boasts of impressive defensive performances conceeding only one goal after Matchday 3, the least in NWFL group A and attacking prowess seeing captain Seun Fakunle lead the attack lineup of the NWFL Player of Week 3. Ekiti Queens FC will be looking to build on their recent 2-0 win against Dannaz Ladies of Lagos, which marked their second victory in three matches and earned them six points.
The NWFL Group A table currently stands with Ekiti Queens in third position, one point behind Remo Stars Ladies and Edo Queens. Nasarawa Amazons, who secured a 1-0 win against Confluence Queens of Kogi on January 29, will be seeking to capitalize on their home advantage to make it a tough match for the Baoress Babes.
