Technical Advisor to Ekiti State Governor on Sport, Osetoba set to receive award from Bureau of Tourism
In recognition of her exploits in the Sports sector in Ekiti State over the years in tandem with the synergy between Sports and Tourism, the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism will later today Saturday November 30 bestow an honour as Tourism Ambassador on the Technical Advisor on Sports Development, Dr Olusola Osetoba.
The event billed for the Arowolo Hall , beside State Fire Service , Fajuyi Area in Ado Ekiti begins at 4pm.
The award is part of activities to commemorate the 2024 Ekiti Cultural Tourism Day organized by the Bureau of Tourism under the leadership of the Director General, Ambassador Wale Lanre.
Dr Osetoba is recognized for her strides at bringing Ekiti to the Spotlight globally through Sports as the State government has recorded remarkable achievements in the Sports sector since governor Biodun Oyebanji assumed office in 2022.
The State Bureau of Tourism noted that Sports and Tourism are like siamese twins which are interwoven in view of their potentials.
It further said Sports Tourism being a course in international universities is an affirmation of the synergy between both Sports and Tourism.
The Director General, Bureau of Tourism, Ambassador Wale Ojo also said the relationship between the office of Sports Development and Bureau of Tourism has been seamless hence both bodies look forward to working together for the betterment and growth of both Sports and Tourism in Ekiti State.
