Ekiti State Board Games set to take place on Saturday 16th November, 2024
With few days to the first ever Ekiti State Board Games scheduled for Saturday November 16, organizer of the one day event, Femimoniolu Foundation has said there is still room for registration by interested participants in some of the games including draught and ludo.
The Ekiti State Board Games scheduled to hold at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado enjoys the support of the aides to governor Biodun Oyebanji led by the Technical Advisor on Sports Development, Dr Olusola Osetoba who has promised to provide customized souvenirs for all participants inca bid to make the event colourful.
Intending participants are to register with a token of #2k while outstanding performers in each of the following games Ayo olopon, scrabble, chess, draught and ludo will go home with handsome cash rewards and certificates of participation.
According to the Ogotun Ekiti born CEO of Femimoniolu Foundation, Mr Tunde Oluwasinmirin, prizes worth #500k shall be shared among the first, second and third best players in the various games in both the male and female categories.
The tournament is open to all those interested within Ekiti State as there is no age restriction.
The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Ekiti State chapter is the official Media Partners for the one day event as all members of SWAN are expected to offer the competition adequate publicity via all available media platforms within the state and beyond.
