Stage Set For MOB UNITY CUP Season 2 Draws As Organizers Sensitize Teams On Effects of Hooliganism In Football
The draws for the second edition of the MOB UNITY CUP among football teams in Ekiti Central Senatorial District will take place tomorrow Thursday 24th of October 2024.
At the close of registration for the tournament, a total of 55 teams registered for the championship.
According to a press statement by the head of the media committee of the championship, Mr Toyin Ayoola, the draws will hold at the MOB situation Headquarters along Ikere road in Ado Ekiti at 10am.
The press statement indicates that 43 male and 12 female teams are taking part in the championship.
Also coming up at the event is a seminar for the officials of all participating teams with the theme “NO TO HOOLIGANISM IN SPORTS” with particular emphasis on football.
Consequent upon this, it is mandatory for the coaches and captains of the registered teams to attend the seminar and the draws as defaulters will be disqualified from participating in the championship.
The local governments taking part in the MOB UNITY CUP are Ado, Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero
