Agbeyewa Cup: Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School Emerge Champion of Agbeyewa Cup 2025
Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School have merged champions of this year’s Agbeyewa Secondary School Football championship after pipping Igogo Commercial Secondary School by a lone goal in the final yesterday.
Eporo High School beat Efon High School 4-2 in the third place match .
The top three teams went home with a trophy each while the overall champions was rewarded with sum of #1 million followed by second placed team that went home with #750 thousand and #500 thousand for the third placed team .
All players of the four teams also went home with complete set of jersey and school bags .
In attendance at the final match were Oba Sunday Aiku-irawo Aniyi the Obaleo of Erinmope Ekiti , Technical Advisor on Sports, Dr Olusola Osetoba , Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Ekiti FA Chairmen, Chief Oluwole Oloworemo among others while the Team Lead of Agbeyewa Farms, Mr Oscar Ayeleso led staff and management to the venue.
The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Ekiti State chapter supported Agbeyewa Cup 2025 with the Fair Play Award which went to EPORO HIGH School while the SWAN chairman , Qozeem Oladapo personally donated an award to the principal of Government College, Ado Ekiti , Mr Eweje Olaonipekun as the Most Passionate Sports loving Principal.
