In what looks more exciting and thrilling season, the Ekiti United Feeders Team has kick-off their 2026 campaign opening season training amidst pomp and celebrations.
The team which is getting set to offer their brilliancy on the field of football in the 2026 season opening, started in a thrilling fashion at the popular Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, featuring a blend of grits and tactical brilliance from Nigeria’s finest football teams.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti by the team Media Officer, Demola Atobaba said, Ekiti United Feeders Team.played out an entertaining training session on Tuesday and Wednesday, setting an exciting tone for the rest of the new season and thereby ready to display strong attacking intent and solid defensive organization.
The players will continue to showcased the team’s fluidity and composure in the competition ahead.
The head coach, Femi Kumuyi commended the players for their massive turnout to the first training of the year, adding that it really reflected the growing the readiness and competitiveness of men’s football in Nigeria and the importance of the build-up techniques as a platform for the teams to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the new season.
Kumuyi praised the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his commitment towards the grassroots sports development, and also the resilient of ever-ready Technical Advisor on Sports Development, Dr Mrs Olusola Osetoba, hinted that this great commitment has again reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering male footballers, promoting inclusivity, and strengthening grassroots participation in the state.
The coach will be leading the charge with the team aiming to make great exploits in the upcoming season with other technical crew members.
