His crisp aerial moves and controlled landing secured second place in a strong field.Ekiti’s gymnastics head coach, Seun Awokunle, commended the youngster’s composure, describing his display as “a product of skill and focus.”In para-athletics, Adegite Juwon delivered a determined performance in the F45-47 long jump, earning two bronze medals and underlining the state’s growing depth in field events.Meanwhile, Ekiti athletes returned to the track on Wednesday for preliminary heats, with more medal prospects when athletics resumes Thursday. On the courts, both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams advanced to the quarterfinals, keeping their title hopes alive.Dr. Olusola Osetoba, Technical Adviser on Sports Development, hailed the athletes’ efforts across all events — from Ayo to gymnastics, para long jump to basketball.
