NYG:Ekiti reaches medal zone as Precious clinches final of Ayo Olopon
Ayodele Precious has qualified for the finals of the game of Ayo Olopon in the female single of the ongoing National Youth games in Asaba Delta state.
In a thrilling encounters,Precious took the state to the first medal zone in the ongoing Youth Games as the rising junior player won six games in a row beaten Imo state by 2-0, winning Osun by 2-1 and overpowered FCT by 3-1.
Precious also capped it up with 2-0 win over Cross River state opponent which sent her to the quarter finals.
In the quarter final, she beat Bayelsa by 3-0 and powered past Akwa Ibom by 2-1 to reach final.
The state coach of Ayo Olopon Abimbola Sunday who said the feat was the first time his player will reach final at youth games, expressed joy at the victory recorded by Precious.
The final has been scheduled for tomorrow at the indoor sports hall, Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba Delta state.
