Organizers of Maiden Ekiti State Board Games Adopts SWAN As Media Partners
Preparatory to the first ever Ekiti State Board Games scheduled for November 16, organizer of the one day event, Femimoniolu Foundation has sealed a partnership with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Ekiti State.
With the development, SWAN as Media Partners will support the competition with publicity via all available media platforms within the State and beyond.
The First Ekiti State Board Games also enjoys the support of the Sports Development office led by the Technical Advisor, Dr Olusola Osetoba which hopes to provide logistics support towards ensuring a colorful event.
The tournament, which will feature Ayo olopon, scrabble, chess, draught and ludo will take place at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti.
Intending participants are to register with a token of 2,000 while outstanding performers in each of the games shall go home with handsome cash rewards and certificate of participation for all participants.
According to the Ogotun Ekiti born CEO of Femimoniolu Foundation, Mr Tunde Oluwasinmirin, prizes worth #500k shall be shared among the first, second and third best players in the various games in both the male and female categories.
The tournament is open to all those interested within Ekiti State as there is no age restriction.
