EKITI STATE EXCELS AT KARATE COMPETITION IN LAGOS

Ekiti State has made an impressive mark at Zainab Saleh female Open Karate competition in Lagos, clinching two bronze medals. Odunayo Kemi secured the first bronze medal in the 48kg category, while Akintayo Semilore bagged the second in the 59kg category.

Our athletes showcased exceptional skill and dedication, competing against top talent from across the country. Their hard work and determination paid off, earning them well-deserved recognition.

This achievement underscores the commitment of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration to sports development in Ekiti State, as well as the steadfast support of the Ekiti State Karate Association led by Chairman Adebayo Abiodun Richard.

Ayodeji Olowolafe, Secretary of the Ekiti State Karate Association, expressed delight and pride in the athletes’ outstanding performance. “Their success is a testament to their tireless efforts and the support of our administration,” he said.
