5TH LATE OBA AJAKAIYE CUP: STAGE SET FOR KICKOFF
Friday August 30 is the kickoff of the much awaited Late Oba Justice Ademola
Ajakaiye Under 13 Soccer championship.
The organizing committee says several teams from across Ekiti State and one team from Ghana will begin contest at the Eyemote School in Iyin Ekiti on Friday.
Four matches will take place on Friday Day 1 as Facoms FC face Focus Academy by 1pm while AA FC will slug it out with Golden FC by 2.30pm just as Lions Gate FA will lock horns with Agbana Wonderful Academy by 4pm and Goro FC tackle Super Lion FC by 5.30pm all at same venue.
Other teams that will be contesting include VOA Academy, Agbana Wonderful Academy, DLight Academy, Morning Star FC, All Stars Academy, Amazing FC , Golden FC, .Lions FC, S.K.O FC, A.A FC, Rajjy FC, Wisdom Academy, Netshakers FC, Phoenix FC, Sporting Wolves FC, Perfect Touch FC, Harmony FC and Ghanaian side
Strong Tower FC.
The Under 13 Soccer which is in memory of the football loving late Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, Oba Justice Ademola Ajakaiye who was a devout Manchester united FC fan has received the assurances of the family of the late monarch as well as the chairman of Ekiti State Football Association, Aare Olu Oloworemo and chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun LFC, Mr Tope Olaifa among other stakeholders.
